Fall Necklace Trends

While summer is a great season, I always get excited when I see sweaters and coats popping up in stores. It may be hard to convince yourself to buy one while the hot weather is still in full swing, but that doesn't mean that you can't adopt some of fall's biggest necklace and jewelry trends right now. These pieces will work well for any season and are a great way to ease into the newest designer duds.

Bright jewel tones – The 80s are back in a big way. By this, we mean that neon hued necklaces that add a shock of color to darker outfits are hot, hot, hot! Show off megawatt happy moods with Cubic Zirconia necklaces that incorporate hot pink, Tropicana orange and citrus yellow set against gold tone. A necklace like this can make any black or white ensemble modern and fun. Best of all, these necklaces look great when worn on vacation or paired with a dress for a dinner party.

Chain link – If you're looking to add a little edge to your outfit, opt for a multi-strand chain link necklace that utilizes a medley of metals. Pair with girly pieces like satin blouses or silk camis to create a balanced look that is fashion-forward and classy chic.

Fringe – Fringe isn't just a trim for dresses anymore. This season, it's for necklaces and rocker inspired pieces that will rev up your style for nights on the town. Pair a fringe multi-strand necklace with an all black outfit for a cool-without-trying look. Celebs like Fergie and Rhianna are all over this trend, and with affordable pieces, you can be too!

Pearls – They've always been a fashion accessory classic, and this season pearl necklaces are back. For a modern take on this staple, try pearls in large gumball size necklaces, or opt for colored stones in black or silver.
