Windows Firewall Control + Keymkr

Windows Firewall Manage is a nifty little application which extends the functionality of the Windows Firewall and supplies quick access to the most frequent choices of Windows Firewall.
It runs in the technique tray and enables user to control the native firewall easily with no having to waste time by navigating to the particular component of the firewall.
This is the best tool to handle the native firewall from Windows eight, Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Windows Firewall Handle delivers 4 filtering modes which can be switched with just a mouse click:

Modifications in v4..two. (17.09.2013)
  • New: Description column was added in the Manage Guidelines information grid and Neighborhood Addresses column into the Not too long ago Blocked data grid. These two are initially hidden and have to be enabled from the information grid header context menu.
  • New: A new checkbox was added in the Uninstall dialog to let the user decide on if he desires to disable Windows Firewall logging at uninstallation.
  • New: A new confirmation dialog was added when the user presses on the Clear log button in Not too long ago Blocked window.
  • New: Columns size is now saved when the user closes Manage Rules window and then reloaded at reopening of the view. This applies to Manage Rules and Not too long ago Blocked.
  • Fixed: Short-term Guidelines that have an expiry time are deleted imediatelly right after they are produced on non en-US versions of Windows.
  • Fixed: "WFC - Windows Store (svchost.exe)" rule does not function as anticipated when the service is set to WSService. The rule was updated to correctly enable the connections to Windows Retailer on Windows 8 machines.
  • Fixed: Notifications for "Technique" are displayed even if there is a block rule that denies this. "Technique" is not included in the guidelines defined for All programs.
  • Removed: Registry Editor and Command Prompt had been removed from the Tools tab. The CMD window that was started from that shortcut had no scrolling bar so if the user executed a command with a big output, the window can't be scrolled up to see the final results.
